Before learning the technical aspects of fuel, airflow, or maintenance, it is essential to understand the wider role that wood-burning stoves play in modern British homes and the responsibility that comes with owning and using one.

MODULE 2: STOVE BASICS & MAINTENANCE

This module focuses on understanding the physical components of a wood-burning stove and how correct day to day care and maintenance support safe, efficient, and clean operation.

While modern stoves are engineered to high standards, their performance and safety depend heavily on how well they are understood and maintained by the user. 

MODULE 3: FUEL QUALITY & STORAGE

This module explains why fuel quality and storage are critical to safe, efficient, and responsible wood burning. By the end of this module, you will understand how to choose the right fuel, how to identify poor-quality wood, and how correct storage directly affects emissions, appliance performance, and safety.

MODULE 4: EFFICIENT BURNING TECHNIQUES

This module explains how to operate a wood-burning stove efficiently and responsibly. By the end of this module, you will understand how correct lighting, airflow control, and burning techniques improve heat output, reduce emissions, protect your stove and flue, and create a safer home environment.
